Ish Kabible and Sully Mason worked the comedy skit with Kay Keyser band during world war 2 or right after. I have there autographs and also Dorothy Dale , William Bendix and the Legendary Jim Thorpe. My dad was a Marine and got the Autographs before I was born. They made quite a few movies in the old days so you may be able to get a video of one of their movies and make those old peoples day. God Bless You!! Randy Cooper Charleston SC

I think the movie you are referring to is called:

Sun Valley Serenade (1941)

I'm not sure if it's available but I imagine it will come around again on TCM sometime. Here is the IMDB info on it:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0034241/

I have a question for anyone on this board. I saw a clip of a 30's or 40's musical. They were singing the original version of Glenn Miller's "Chattanooga Choo Choo" Anyone know the name of this film? Thanks

Hi Everyone!(anyone?)
Just wondering if anyone had heard the news of Miss Mayo's passing about a week or so ago. Remember her in "The Kid From Brooklyn"? Or that other Danny Kaye movie where he was a professor and she was a mobster's girlfriend hiding out from the law. Does anyone remember the name of that movie? Well anyway, R. I. P. V. M.

Ahhh. I think I figured out that the board is seeing the first part of the word as bad or naughty. OK here is a link instead:

OK....one final time. The third times a charm right? I think the Admin needs to look at his board settings and why the board would be messing up. It is called

thingyeyed Cavaliers (1934)

I guess the html tags do not work.

The movie you are wondering about is called thingyeyed Cavaliers (1934). It stars the comedy team of Wheeler and Woolsey. I'm not sure if this film is available for sale anywhere but I'm sure it comes up occasionally on TCM.
